About Us

mltolbs.com started because volume-to-mass conversions are easy to get wrong—you must include density, and density comes in many units.

What this tool does

How the math works (short version)

We convert your density to a consistent base, convert volume from mL to m³, multiply to get mass (kg), then convert kg to lb (1 kg = 2.20462262185 lb). In shorthand with density in g/mL: lb = mL × ρ(g/mL) × 0.00220462262. It stays accurate and transparent.
